What moms like you are saying about JAM:

"As a stay at home mom of three young kids, I was constantly feeling overwhelmed and frustrated. It seemed like I could never get this 'mothering' thing down. I would talk to family and friends with older kids, and they all had well-meaning advice, but still I felt alone in my battle with the everyday. When my marriage began to unravel, my entire world turned upside down. A trusted friend suggested I find a MOPS group in my area and get involved. I didn't know anything about MOPS, but I did just as she suggested and found this group. I didn't know anyone in the group but just showed up to a summer play date and came nearly every time after that. I had no idea what to expect, but even those few hours of weekly bliss began to turn things around. Once the school year began and I was able to attend meetings, I was blown away by the experience. The crafts were fun and trendy, the speakers were so insightful, the snacks were DELICIOUS, the child care workers were fantastic, but it was the other MOMS who blessed me most of all. For the first time I have rich relationships with other moms who struggle just like I do and are always there to show Christ's love and support me and my family. I cannot say enough how this group has been a literal life saver for me in one of the hardest times in my life. My marriage has been restored, but I still love and depend on my MOPS group for just the right advice and support when I need it most.

"MOPS has been wonderful for my kids and I. We always look forward to going. The support from the group is amazing and the friendships I’ve developed have grown. I feel very comfortable with my MOPS group. Before I joined MOPS, I felt pretty alone and unsupported as I had moved an hour away from my family when I got married. Now I’m so appreciative that has changed due to being in MOPS."

"I appreciate all my children's teachers. They are wonderful and attentive to my kids and their needs. I love the valet parking!"

"I haven't been in MOPS very long, but I am so thankful for this group of ladies. It has been such a blessing to be surrounded by such positive women who have been in, or are in, the same situation as me."

What is JAM?

JAM stands for Just Among Moms, formerly known as MOPs. We are a group of local moms – just like you - coming together to support one another through the ups and downs of mothering. We invite any mother of a child from conception through elementary school to join us. Here at JAM we strive to meet the needs of every mom - urban, suburban and rural moms, stay-at-home and working moms, teen, single and married moms.  Whether your child is yet to be born or is in kindergarten, JAM is for you!

We believe that we mother better together. JAM exists to give moms a community of women, who meet together to laugh, cry, and embrace this crazy journey of motherhood! JAM groups are encouraging women to be more honest, to feel more equipped and to find our identity by walking alongside one another. We don't all have to be just alike or agree on everything, but we are all in this together and we need each other!

What does a JAM meeting look like?

A JAM meeting includes practical teaching through speakers, demonstrations, and videos. Sometimes we get a little crafty, sometimes we get a little crazy, but we always have fun!!!

Need a little mom connection? A little adult conversation? Strong coffee and a moment to sit still? We do too.  We totally get that you'll be running in the door in the nick of time with cookies in your hair. Chances are, we will be too! We're here for you.

Your children are welcome to participate in our  JAM Kids program.  JAM Kids provides age appropriate care for infants through kindergarten, and allows children to interact with others their age.

Please note that there is limited space for childcare.  Once the classrooms reach capacity, we will begin a waiting list of mothers who would like to attend JAM. Anyone on the waiting list is always welcome to attend the meetings if they provide their own childcare.

Where and when are the JAM meetings?

JAM will meet right here at Calvary, every first and third Tuesday from September to May, beginning September 17, 2019.  Our meetings will run from 9:00 to 11:15 am.

If you would like to attend our group, please register by clicking on the button below. We ask that everyone send in a registration form so that we can assure adequate childcare. Once you attend, and decide to become a member, you will be given instructions for payment.
