As I consider what information is relevant to my biography as a pastor, it is impossible to overestimate how much grace God has shown me through this church. God rooted me in the faith through Jesus-loving parents and the faithful teaching and testimony of the body of Christ here.

God brought my wife of almost 20 years, Cassandra, into my life as a teenager here at CBC. He brought Pastor Tom (this church’s previous pastor) and Pastor George into my life to disciple me and encourage me to use whatever gifts I have for the glory of God, and he has allowed Cassandra and I to raise our three girls with the love and support of this group of believers.

As I began to serve in the church and discern my gifts, the body affirmed my calling to teach and preach. I felt led to learn as much as I could to best use my gifts for the building up of the church and enrolled in seminary, graduating from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Theological Studies. I feel incredibly blessed to be in my role as an undershepherd in a body that has been so influential in my own life.

Besides pastoring, I own three small businesses, enjoy cooking, hunting, and improving the farm and land that God has given to us.
